Hello, Omaha moms!
Naptime at daycare
«

My daughter is no longer sleeping well at daycare. This is stressful to both me and her provider.
She's 14 months old and cries for a while before finally falling asleep and then has been waking up after only 20 or 25 minutes.
Any advice?
She obviously needs more sleep during the day than this.
Last night, she was so tired she started asking me to go "Night, Night" while still in her highchair at the dinner table!

Not sure if this will work for daycare but it worked for me at home. Does Paige have something she sleeps with on a regular basis? When Bryce was not staying in bed at night I bought him a special bedtime toy (He picked out Toy Story 3 little figures) that he could only have when he was in his bed. This was a quick fix to getting out of bed multiple times and fighting with him for two hours. Let her pick out something at the store and then have your provider keep this in her bed. This may encourage her to look forward to naps.

Hmm. Very interesting idea. Thanks!
She does have a blankie at home that she sleeps with. I should try bringing that. I did and then I didn't because it didn't seem like it mattered. I'll start bringing it, just to see if it helps.

Update: Brought the blankie AND my daycare provider decided to move her to a napmat on the floor in the living room with the other kids.
Day two of hour-plus naps! On a NAPMAT, not in a pack and play. Do you know what this means, moms?
My baby is no longer a baby! She's a little girl!

That means you could even get Paige a big-girl bed!

mom2lulu, let's not get carried away here!!!!! I can't make that big of a change yet.
I think I need to take the bottle away (don't judge me) first before we switch to a toddler bed.
You are stressing me out.
Yes, my daycare provider is brilliant.
